September 2015
Poster session presented by Daniela Robu. Created by Daniela Robu, John Lazar and Barbara Brady-Fryer
Delivered for 16th European Conference on Knowledge Management, Udine, Italy
The larger the organization gets, the harder it is to maintain, organize and disseminate the knowledge it takes for the organization to run effectively and efficiently. Knowledge Management Systems (KMS) focus on making information organized and accessible. Aligned to the knowledge management vision of performance excellence, a KMS solution at Alberta Health Services is structuring its components by drawing on: lessons learned from researchers and best practices from leading KMS end-user organizations; an adapt and adopt principle to meet its organizational requirements; and innovative adaptations of its policies to support its implementation approach.
