Innovative Approach to a Virtual Collaboration Platform

September 2016

Session presented by Daniela Robu and John B. Lazar

Developed by Daniela Robu and John B. Lazar

Knowledge is what employees know about their clients, one another, products, processes, mistakes, and successes whether that knowledge is tacit or explicit.

Knowledge management is about creating and managing the processes to get the right knowledge to the right people at the right time and help people share and act on information in order to improve organizational performance.

This session is based on an innovative Collaborative Demonstration Project (CDP) that has as an output a prototype for systemic implementation. It identifies strategy and design as essential ingredients to respond to the user requirements and intended business outcomes when developing virtual collaboration platforms. The objective is to share lessons learned from the CDP experience that might be relevant to your organization's information and knowledge challenges.

Changing the Game: Game-changing Strategies that Unleash Performance Improvement

September 2016

Presented by John B. Lazar and Kery Mortenson;

developed by John B. Lazar, Tim Gillum and Kery Mortenson

Pre-conference workshop for ISPI EMEA conference, Bonn, Germany

If you could “change the game” for you and your organization, what might that look like? What might become available and possible? For HPT practitioners to be successful, consider that we must be able to identify and implement game-changing interventions.

Within a ‘game’ and ‘changing the game’ framework, participants will receive, discuss and practice using several game-changing tools. These challenge and shift our currently held assumptions about how to implement HPT methodologies. They will accelerate the data gathering, analysis and intervention selection processes we follow to do rigorous, value-adding work for our clients. Join us to up your ante and change your game.

This workshop handout is similar to the one from the 2016 CISPI workshop presentation.
